Personal Assignment 3: Some thing which I enjoyed with my family

Well well well. Today, my dad returned me my authority to use the computer. Of course, with that kind of "attitude", he had something up his sleeve. And I was right. He wanted me to teach him how to use "Window's Messanger"!

This , I assumed, was his first step towards being mad. He swore off computer games, activities, and would never use it other than for work. What was he up to now?? Maybe he had a change of heart and was starting to warm up to games and being sociable?? Well, if you think that's why, you are so wrong... ... ...

He was just learning how to use it so that he could contact his colleagues without that stupid PHONE BILL!!! Wow. He's transforming all that I love on the computer into weird and strange stuff!( Yes, I consider using Msn to update others on buisness weird.) Dota, a game which was fun - until he played it with me. Brillant strategeist. He "solo-ed" the entire game. I was left to kill the minions. Maple - he sold my account away. Why, the only thing I can stand playing is chess, because he stinks at it. No offense.

But, actually, that's a bit of a good thing. My grades HAVE improved significantly since I stopped playing so many computer games. I don't know, though. Should I not teach him how to use Windows Messenger? Or not... ... ...

PERSONAL RECOUNT ASSIGNMENT 2: Some thing that took place in school

Today is Thursday, 17/1/2008.

This week, since last friday, we were told that be there would be a fire drill - in other words, a mock fire exercise. We were in the last session of the day (P.E. , for your information.) when the fire alarm's noise burst into my ears. My P.E. teacher, Ms. Sheka, was taken totally by surprised. ( I always thought that teachers know when the mock fire exercise will happen, so that the drills will be more organized. Now I know that the teachers aren't allowed to know about it - it builds up the tension as in a real fire.) She was, by the way, rushing us out of the classroom. When we were out in the corridors, Mr. Maran was at the staircases guiding the students and teachers down. He was exactly the same of a police officer trying to stop panic from setting in everywhere. Of course, there was no panic. We just assembled at the school field. After a moment's waiting, we went back to our classrooms.

I personally feel that the fire drill was not at all effective. No offense, but students and teachers were chatting on their way down. Take a case in Japan for example: whenever there is an earthquake evacuation exercise, all the students and teachers will take it seriously. No chatter, laughter, or unescersary noise. That is because these diasaeters are REAL. They are not excuses to get out of your seat to stretch. We should really treat them seriously, as they might occur any moment.

In fact, I think that the drills will be more effective if there would be smoke coming out from the school. I woul not be surprised if Mr. Low, our principal, criticised our unreadiness and our "happy-go-lucky" attitude.

PERSONAL RECOUNT ASSIGNMENT 1: A moment I enjoyed with my family

Wow. My first post on homework. I must do it, and well. 50% of the CA. I'm like , freaked - out anxious.

Last week , my family and I visited the singapore zoological gardens . We like it there, and the many locals and foriengers confirmed that although there are many more places of enjoyment like Sentosa, The Night Safari, Jurong Birdpark, the Singapore zoo is still popular with many. Luckily, we did not go go to Jurong birdpark. The TODAY paper stated that a pair of eagles managed to escape from the park. They were seen flying AND fighting across and flew into a house in Jalan Kayu!!! I really don't want to be right in the middle of a birdfight.

The zoo is an exicting place. There were penguins , white tigers, monkeys, panda bears, etc etc. Now we know that most animals usually don't produce sounds unless agitated or frightened. Meaning - Animal planet is a fraud. We often hear the animals roaring, barking, moaning for no apparent reason on Animal Planet. The truth is out.

The best part of it was when the guy who was feeding the penguins accidentally slipped into the pool itself. He was shouting," Oh my god, it's so freaking cold! When he finally got out, he realised that his fish was gone. The penguins had 'helped themselves' to the fish! That brought a good laugh. I really wonder if he was the entertainment.

The worst part comes with a stench. It was the elephants. I suppose that they will wash the elephants once in a while, but they should do it more often before the smell becomes too horrendous to withstand. Maybe some visitors will consider boycotting them. But I do feel pity for the elephants.

The trip was fun though. My Dad was fined $250 for feeding the monkeys (with potato chips and twisties) . "Gosh, $250 for a selfless act??" my dad exclaimed. I myself was taken totally by surprise. "They don't feed them enough," my Dad said. On a serious note, the monkeys were almost frenzied , mad, in fact ,with our departure from their cage. They screeched and screamed and well, practically tore themselves from the the cage. My mum, however, was mad with dad. She said that she would throw him into the cage the next time my dad did something stupid. Everyone was staring at us!
Overall, I loved it. I'll happily go back any time.

How I feel About my new blog

I've had made many blogs before.
AMAZINGLY , THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAD TO DO ONE FOR
doooMMMM.....
Homework!
But hi there.
Anyway, I' m trying to get a blogskin.
Long time since I used a blog, so I have to , like, get used to it.
But apparently I can't use singlish.
Personally though, I think that this is an excellent way for us to learn more about english. This will force me and more to revise our english. Our opinions can be revised and we can learn about each others views. The BAAAAADDDDD thing is, there will be critics , and people can like just spread the word of our personal secrets.
Be WARNED!
This is a disclaimer.
I am not going to write a lot of personal stuuf in here, you can be sure about that.
Hell. To Those Who Insult Me.(TTWIM)
